How Do I Fast Ramadan?
From true dawn until sunset, the fasting Muslim abstains from food, drink and sexual relations as worship of Allah, while maintaining the other obligations and avoiding sin.
What Breaks the Fast?
Deliberate eating and drinking during the fasting day and sexual intercourse clearly break the fast; forgetful eating or drinking is treated differently and the fast continues.

Menstruation & Ramadan Fasting
A menstruating woman does not fast during established menstrual days and later makes up those fasting days; the Salah missed during menstruation is not made up.

Zakah is obligatory when its conditions apply, but becoming Muslim does not mean every person instantly owes 2.5% of all possessions.
